    3705 at Manisa 21 March 1976. Behind the Humboldt and also in steam this Henschel 4-6-4T of 1925 build from a Prussian T18 design. This was the only one of the class I saw in four trips and also the only Turkish steam engine I saw that wasn't painted black!

I seem to remember something on the left hand side out of picture behind a high wall, which could have been a railway workshop.

Studying the timetable for 1975 it appears that the locos worked through from Afyon possibly to Izmir since the longest booked stop was at Alaşehir at only 21 minutes. Afyon depart 04h15 Izmir arrive 16h50. How does that compare with today?
